TEAM NOTES
• Memphis has forced a turnover in 12 of its past 14 games. During that stretch, the Tigers have recorded 26 takeaways.
• Three different Tigers rushed for a touchdown during the contest (Thomas, Henigan, Ducker).
PLAYER NOTES
• With 284 yards on the day, sophomore quarterback Seth Henigan moved to fifth all-time in passing yards at Memphis (5,830). Henigan ended the game 26-for-39 passing for 284 yards and a touchdown. On the season, Henigan has thrown for 2,520 yards.
• Henigan was also the Tigers' leading rusher (16 carries for 69 yards and a TD) and set a new career high in rushing yards.
• With his third solo tackle of the day, fifth-year defensive back Quindell Johnson moved to No. 6 all-time on Memphis' career-solo tackles list (215). Johnson ended the game with eight tackles (five solo).
• Redshirt-sophomore running back Brandon Thomas found the endzone from seven yards out to tie the game at 7-7 with 5:59 to play in the first half. It was Thomas' ninth rushing touchdown of the season and 17th of his career.
• Redshirt-freshman defensive lineman William Whitlow Jr. recorded his second sack of the season in the first quarter. Fifth-year linebacker Xavier "Zay" Cullens recorded his first sack of the season on the very next play.
• Junior defensive back Davion Ross picked off his first pass as a Tiger and the fourth overall of his career with :03 left in the first quarter
• Henigan scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season midway through the second quarter to tie the score at 14-14.
• Sophomore running back Jevyon Ducker found paydirt from a yard out with 6:53 to play in the third quarter to cap an 11-play, 77-yard drive and even the score again at 21-21. The score was Ducker's third of the season.
• With 3:18 remaining in the game, Henigan linked up with redshirt-junior wide receiver Joseph Scates for a 14-yard touchdown pass. Scates finished the game with four receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown.
