• Memphis earned the program's ninth-consecutive bowl game berth with six wins on the season. The streak is the longest among non-Power 5 teams and is currently tied for ninth longest among all NCAA teams. That includes all seven seasons that Silverfield has been on staff.

PLAYER NOTES
• Sophomore quarterback Seth Henigan moved to fifth all-time at Memphis when he completed his 15th pass of the game, passing Martin Hankins (488).
• Henigan extended his streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass to 23 games – every start of his career.
• Henigan ended the game 27-for-44 passing for 287 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He now ranks fifth all-time at Memphis in attempts (809), completions (500), yards (6,597) and touchdown passes (44).
• Additionally, Henigan's numbers for attempts (416), completions (275) and passing yards (3,275) rank ninth, fourth and seventh, respectively, for a single season at Memphis.
• Freshman running back Sutton Smith scored the game's first touchdown on the Tigers' opening drive, rushing it in from five yards out with 8:33 to play in the first quarter. Smith's second touchdown of the season capped a 13-play, 75-yard drive that chewed up 6:27 of game time.
• Redshirt-sophomore running back Jevyon Ducker broke free for a 39-yard rush in the first quarter to mark the longest rushing play for the Tigers since Ducker rushed for a 50-yard touchdown against Mississippi State in week one.
• Redshirt-senior running back Asa Martin rushed for a three-yard touchdown with 10:51 remaining in the first half to give the Tigers a 14-7 lead after the Howard PAT.
• Redshirt-senior kicker Chris Howard tacked on a 42-yard field goal as time expired in the first half to give Memphis a 17-14 lead. Howard is now 20-for-23 on field-goal attempts this season.
• Redshirt-junior tight end Caden Prieskorn moved up to second on Memphis' single-season receiving yards list for tight ends with his third catch of the day. He ended the game with ÂÂÂÂfour catches for 45 yards and now ranks behind only Sean Dykes' 2021 season total (657) with 593 yards.
• Fifth-year wide receiver Gabriel Rogers rushed for a five-yard touchdown on the final play of the third quarter. It was the first rushing touchdown of Rogers' career. He has now scored touchdowns in his career rushing, receiving, passing and via kick return.
• Ducker led the Tigers on the ground with 10 carries for 81 yards.
• Martin hauled in a team-high seven passes for 74 yards in addition to his 36 rushing yards and touchdown.
• Redshirt-junior wide receiver Javon Ivory caught six passes for a team-high 98 yards.
• Sophomore wide receiver Roc Taylor caught a seven-yard touchdown from Henigan with 2:36 remaining in the fourth quarter.
• Redshirt-junior linebacker Geoffrey Cantin-Arku and fifth-year linebacker Xavier "Zay" Cullens each logged a game-high 12 tackles.
