MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis cross country is set to compete in the American Athletic Conference Championships Friday in Tulsa.
Held at Mohawk Park, the women will begin the day with the 6k race at 9:15 a.m., and the men will follow in the 8k at 10 a.m.

Both teams have had strong individual performances over the season, consistently bringing home new personal bests and top-20 finishes.
Last year in the championships, Zachary Wyatt (11th) paced the men, earning All Conference recognition. He led the team to a fifth-place finish, and the women finished ninth.
"Both teams are eager to race tomorrow with their sights set to have their best individual and team performances," said cross country coach Ken Frenette.
