Memphis Hosting SMU for Midweek Matchup

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Tigers (16-7,6-4) return to the Larry O. Finch Center to face SMU (15-7, 8-2) on Wednesday afternoon. The match will be streamed on ESPN+ and live stats will be available at memphisstats.com.

Memphis fell 3-1 to the Mustangs earlier this season in Dallas. Kate Bass leg the team with 12 kills and six blocks while Bailey Houlihan had a match high 28 digs.

Memphis used a pair of five-set victories over East Carolina and Temple last weekend to move into fourth place in The American standings. Senior Kate Bass currently leads the team and is third in the conference with 96 blocks. Sophomore transfer Jasmyn Tate continues to shine for Memphis, tying her career-high 16 kills in back-to-back wins last weekend.

SMU is currently on a three-match win streak after defeating Temple and SMU over the weekend. The Mustangs have won six-in-a-row on the road.
