• Memphis had its 11-consecutive games with a turnover forced streak snapped.
• The Tigers had a pair of 100-yard receivers (Prieskorn, Scates) for the first time since Sept. 25, 2021, when Sean Dykes and Calvin Austin III each went over the century mark.
• Memphis played in an overtime game for the first time since Nov. 13, 2021 – also against East Carolina.

• Redshirt-junior linebacker Geoffrey Cantin-Arku and redshirt-sophomore defensive lineman Cormontae Hamilton combined for a sack in the first quarter. Hamilton added a solo sack in the fourth quarter and now has 3.5 this season.
• Cantin-Arku had a game-high 11 tackles (six solo).
• Redshirt-junior tight end Caden Prieskorn hauled in a pass and rumbled a career-long 48 yards in the first quarter, setting up a four-yard touchdown run by redshirt-senior running back Asa Martin.
• Martin paced the Tigers' rushing attack, carrying the ball 12 times for 59 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
• With three field goals in the game, redshirt-senior kicker Chris Howard improved to 14-for-14 on field-goal attempts this season and passed Stephen Gostkowski and Joe Allison to move to third in Tiger history for consecutive field goals made.
• Prieskorn set a career-high in receiving yards (75) in the first half alone. He ended the game with six receptions for 104 yards (both career highs).
• Redshirt-junior wide receiver Joseph Scates set career highs in receptions (5) and yards (112) and hauled in a touchdown pass.
• Sophomore quarterback Seth Henigan threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to redshirt-senior wide receiver Eddie Lewis with 5:45 remaining in the first half.
• Henigan recorded the fourth 400-yard passing game of his career, moving him into a tie with Riley Ferguson for the most such games in program history. He ended the game 27-for-37 passing with 407 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
• Henigan made his 18th start for the Tigers and has now thrown at least one touchdown pass in all 18 games.
• With his second reception of the game, redshirt-junior wide receiver Javon Ivory went over the 1,000-yard plateau for his career. He ended the game with four receptions for 55 yards.
• Fifth-year linebacker Tyler Murray recorded a Memphis career-high 10 tackles in the contest (nine solo).
• Redshirt-sophomore wide receiver Koby Drake matched a career high in receptions (3) and set a career high in receiving yards (74).
• Fifth-year defensive back Sylvonta Oliver had a career-high 10 tackles (all solo).
