Tigers represented in ITA national rankings

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Tigers women's tennis players Sophie Abrams and Aran Teixido Garcia are nationally ranked in the latest Oracle ITA Division I Women's Tennis Rankings.
Abrams is No. 72 nationally in singles, and the doubles pair fo Abrams/Teixido Garcia is ranked 52nd in the nation.
"Sophie's ability to achieve a national ranking is a testament to her hard work and dedication to self-improvement," Tigers head coach Hayden Perez said. "She is continuing to grow as a tennis player, and Ryan Haymond and I are very proud of her effort to this point. It will be exciting to watch how the remainder of the season plays out for her."
