Feb 23, 2021 | Women's Soccer
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following a 20-day layoff between games, the No. 23 Memphis women's soccer team will host Tulsa at 6 p.m. CT Wednesday at Park Avenue Campus. The American Athletic Conference matchup was postponed last week due to inclement winter weather.
Attendance to home matches this spring will be limited to player and staff guests.
Memphis (1-0) opened its season with a 3-0 win over UAB on Feb. 4. Junior Tanya Boychuk and freshman Grace Stordy were named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll after strong performances in the win over the Blazers. Boychuk had a goal and an assist while Stordy scored a goal and helped the Tigers produce a clean sheet with a strong defensive effort.
The Tigers and the Golden Hurricane last met on Halloween in 2019, a 3-0 Memphis victory in Tulsa. The game Wednesday will be the season opener for Tulsa.
