MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Tigers center Jalen Duren has been named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week and senior forward DeAndre Williams earned a spot on the league's weekly Honor Roll for their efforts in Memphis' win over No. 6/8 Alabama Tuesday.

Duren's 2.8 blocked shots per game rank 22nd nationally, and his 28 total blocks are 25th-most in the country.
Williams was Tuesday's leading scorer with a season-high 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting in 33 minutes, and he rounded out his stat line with six assists, three steals, three rebounds and a block.
