TAMPA, Fla. – Saorla Miller broke scoreless tie in the 85th minute, and the third-seeded Memphis Tigers advanced to the championship match of the 2021 American Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Championship with a 1-0 semifinal win over second-seeded Houston Thursday afternoon in Tampa, Fla.

With the win, Tiger goalkeeper Elizabeth Moberg set the new program record for career victories between the pipes with 58.

KEY MOMENTS

Miller was a constant threat all match long, placing three shots on goal as the contest remained scoreless.
With regulation in the final five minutes, Miller played a ball from Tanya Boychuk into the back of the net past the Houston goalkeeper to put the Tigers on the board.
The Tigers closed out the match and are now 90 minutes away from an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Memphis is 13-4-1 on the season.
The goal is Miller's fifth of the season, tied for second-most on the squad.
Boychuk has three assists this year, which is second-most among Tigers.
