- With the 33-28 win, the Tigers became bowl eligible for the eighth-consecutive season, the longest active streak in the American Athletic Conference.
- The victory also clinched the eighth-straight season that Memphis finished the regular season at or above .500.
- Memphis is now 15-2 at home vs. the Green Wave with eight straight wins at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium against Tulane.
- The Tigers have won 18 of their past 20 games in the month of November.
- Memphis improved to 36-5 (.878) at home since Ryan Silverfield joined the coaching staff in 2016 and to 11-2 (.846) since Silverfield was named head coach.
- Silverfield's 14 wins over the past two seasons are tied for the second most by any Memphis coach over the coaches first two seasons, trailing only Mike Norvell's 18.
- With defensive back Quindell Johnson's second quarter interception, the Tigers have notched at least one interception in five straight games with eight interceptions over that stretch and two in each of the past three games.
- Memphis added two fumble recoveries in the win and has eight takeaways in the last three games.
- The four takeaways by the Tigers vs. Tulane were the most for the team since they had four in a win vs. Temple, Oct. 24, 2020.
- 17 Tigers participated in Senior Day ceremonies prior to the game.

- Quarterback Seth Henigan went 27-for-42 for 336 yards and three touchdown passes, which gave him 3,322 passing yards and 25 passing touchdowns on the season, the first Memphis freshman quarterback to eclipse 3,000 passing yards in a single season.
- Henigan's 3,322 passing yards are the sixth most by a Memphis quarterback in a single season in program history, while his 25 passing touchdowns put him in a tie for seventh.
- With two catches, wide receiver Calvin Austin III now has 74 receptions on the season, tied for the fourth most in a single season for a Memphis receiver in Tigers' history.
- With 89 yards on seven receptions, tight end Sean Dykes has 1,826 career receiving yards, the ninth most in Memphis history.
- Wide receiver Gabriel Rogers' first quarter touchdown catch was his first receiving touchdown in a Tigers uniform.
- Wide receiver Marcayll Jones set a new single-game career high with four receptions and 36 receiving yards.
- Running back Asa Martin had three receptions for 66 yards, a new career high for receiving yards in a game.
- Martin added a rushing touchdown, which made it four consecutive games that he has found the end zone.
- With nine points (two field goals and three extra points), kicker David Kemp set a career-high for points for the second consecutive week and had a career-long 40-yard field goal.
