Tigers Sign Batchelor for 2022-23
Nov 11, 2021 | Men's Basketball
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Tigers head coach Penny Hardaway has announced the signing of Noah Batchelor (G, 6-6, Frederick, Md.) to a National Letter of Intent to suit up for the program in the 2022-23 season.
Â
Batchelor, a four-star recruit according to Scout, currently plays for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. He has participated in two USA Basketball camps and played with Team Thrill on the Under Armour circuit in spring and summer 2021.
Â
"We're excited to have such a dynamic athlete who can space the floor and knock it down from behind the arc," Hardaway said. "More importantly, we are excited to add such a foundational component to the culture we are establishing here at the University of Memphis. Noah will be the type of young man who will represent this University, this program and this City at the highest of standards."
Â
Batchelor's future teammates, the No. 12/16 Tigers, host North Carolina Central Saturday at 6 p.m. After Saturday, the Tigers remain home to welcome Saint Louis Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Western Kentucky next Friday at 7 p.m., before venturing to the NIT Season Tip-Off in Brooklyn, N.Y., the week of Thanksgiving.
Â
Tickets for 2021-22 are available online at www.GoTigersGoTix.com or by phone at (901) 678-2331.
