Top prospect Cisse signs with UofM

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Lausanne Collegiate School's Moussa Cisse, a 6-foot-10 center considered one of the nation's top 10 prospects, will play college basketball at the University of Memphis.
Cisse, the top-ranked prospect in the state, reclassified to the class of 2020 in June.
During the 2019-20 season – his only one at Lausanne – Cisse led the Lynx to the Division II-A state title. In the 54-44 championship game win over First Assembly Christian School, Cisse was named the Most Valuable Player after finishing with 15 points, 10 rebounds and nine blocks. He scored 10 points in the second half.
For the season, Cisse averaged 18.4 points, 15.3 rebounds and 9.2 blocks. In one game in late November 2019, Cisse posted a triple-double of 31 points, 22 rebounds and 21 blocks. He posted 17 triple doubles during the season.
Ranked the No. 2 center in the nation by 247Sports Composite, Cisse spent his childhood in Guinea before moving to the United States in December 2015. He transferred to Lausanne in the summer of 2019 from Middle Village, N.Y., where he played for Christ the King Regional. He led Christ the King Regional to the NYSFSSA state title game in 2019.
Playing on the Nike EYBL circuit during the summer of 2019, Cisse averaged 11.8 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3.8 blocks.
Recognized as a premier defender, shot-blocker and rebounder, Cisse has a wingspan of 7 feet, 4 inches.
Cisse joins a recruiting class that includes Virginia Tech transfer Landers Nolley II, Evansville transfer DeAndre Williams and junior college transfer Ahmad Rand and preferred walkon Conor Glennon from Chicago.
