Memphis announces flexible options as football season ticket renewal deadline approaches

MEMPHIS – Recognizing the challenging times for our loyal fans and season ticket holders, University of Memphis Athletics announced more flexible payment plans for season tickets, as well as options in the event the football season is impacted by COVID-19.
Fans can now purchase their season tickets on a payment plan through the months of May, June, July and August. In addition, other flexible payment plans are available for TSF donors in need by contacting the Tiger Scholarship Fund office directly.
"Individual fans who purchase season tickets and donate to the Tiger Scholarship Fund remain the largest source of support for Memphis Athletics and provide student-athlete opportunities on and off the field," Director of Athletics Laird Veatch said. "We have challenging budget decisions ahead, so understanding what choices our fans plan to make in these areas are critically important to the success of our overall operations."
To help fans feel comfortable in making these commitments, Memphis Athletics has identified the following options for Tiger supporters in the event that the 2020 football season is impacted in any way due to COVID-19.
Payments Related to Season Tickets and Parking:
1. Transfer value of impacted tickets/parking to TSF as a 100% philanthropic donation.
2. Transfer value of impacted tickets/parking to TSF as a non-charitable donation towards future required priority seating.
3. Defer the value of impacted tickets/parking towards credit on future purchases.
4. Receive a full refund for the impacted game tickets/parking.
Donations Related to TSF Priority Seating:
1. Reassignment of TSF donation to 100% philanthropic donation.
2. Defer gift as a credit to future TSF Priority Seating required donation.
Season tickets start at just $100 when purchasing four in the Family Fun Zone, and chairback seats are just $350, plus a required per seat donation. For details on seating options, please visit www.GoTigersGo.com/FootballTickets.
Season ticket renewals and Tiger Scholarship Fund pledges have a deadline of May 15.
