MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Playing just its second home match of the season, the University of Memphis men's tennis team hosts American Athletic Conference foe No. 33 UCF on Sunday. The match is set for a noon start at MUS.
UCF marks the second home match in a stretch of season where Memphis hosts eight of its last 10 at home, including its final six matches.
Last time out, the Tigers hosted Temple to open conference play. On a gusty Sunday morning, Memphis swept the Owls 7-0 to open the home schedule with a win.
The Tigers played well up and down the lineup, with a range of finishes going in favor of Memphis. Oscar Cutting, James Story and Jeremy Taylor all finished with straight-set wins, while Jan Pallares, David Stevenson and Patrick Sydow won third sets to finish off the match.

Last season, the Knights took a 4-0 win from the Tigers, taking the match in Orlando, Fla.
UCF enters the weekend on a five-match winning streak, defeating No. 20 Texas Tech in its last outing. The 4-3 triumph over the Red Raiders came on a third-set tiebreak from No. 76 Juan Pablo Mazzuchi defeating No. 87 Ilgiz Valiev on Court 2.
