Men's Tennis ends road slate with match at Kentucky

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tigers men's tennis hits the road one more time before playing at home, heading to Kentucky to face the Wildcats on Friday. Match time in Lexington, Ky., is set for 1 p.m.
Most recently, Memphis dropped a tough 4-3 decision at Arkansas. Singles wins from Oscar Cutting, James Story and David Stevenson weren't enough to push the Tigers through the finish line.
Memphis' match against Kentucky is the final match before the start of conference play. Friday also marks the end of a road-heavy start to the spring, with all nine matches so far being played away from Memphis.
Kentucky marks the third SEC opponent for the Tigers in the last four outings. The Wildcats enter the weekend on a two-match slide, falling last time to Duke. The 4-1 loss featured only one win for the Wildcats, with Gabriel Diallo claiming Court 3 with a 6-4, 6-3 win. On the season, Kentucky sits at a 7-4 record, having started the season with a 4-0 winning streak.
