Men's Tennis falls to Arkansas Saturday Afternoon

Tigers fall 4-3 to SEC opponent
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Memphis men's tennis team came up just short against Arkansas, falling 4-3 Saturday afternoon.
After surrendering the doubles point, the Tigers battled back from down 3-0 to tie it 3-3 in singles play, taking wins on courts 4, 2 and 3 in three-set battles. David Stevenson captured the first singles win for Memphis, taking Court 4 with 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 sets.
Oscar Cutting and James Story rallied back from first-set losses to pick up three-set wins over their counterparts on courts 2 and 3, respectively.
Going the distance as well, Arkansas was able to pick up a third-set win on the final court to claim victory.
Next up for the Tigers is the third of four SEC opponents on the schedule this spring, as Memphis heads to Lexington to face Kentucky.
