MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Dec. 12 game between Memphis and Houston will now kickoff at 2:45 p.m. CT from Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium and will be televised on ESPN2.
Memphis (6-3, 4-3 American Athletic Conference) was initially set to play Houston (3-3, 3-2) in September, but the game has since been rescheduled by the AAC twice due to positive COVID-19 cases. The matchup will serve as the regular-season finale for both teams.
The Tigers have won the last four meetings with the Cougars and are 13-15 in the all-time series. Memphis won 45-27 last season in Houston.
The Cougars have not played since a Nov. 14 win over USF. They will be Memphis' fifth conference opponent this season and sixth overall that has had at least one week off prior to playing the Tigers.
Fans with hard tickets and parking passes may use the same one from the previously scheduled Houston game. Single game tickets are available starting at $35/seat online at www.GoTigersGoTix.com or by calling 901.678.2331. Fans who place a $50/seat deposit for NEW season tickets in 2021 will receive a complimentary ticket for the Houston game.
