The run extended to 12-3 on a Boogie Ellis 3-pointer and a Williams free throw.
Ā
The game of runs continued, with Tulsa putting in eight of the game's next 12 points, and the Tigers' lead stood at 20-19 with 2:21 left in the half. A triple by Lester Quinones and jumpers by Hardaway and Williams sent Memphis into the halftime locker room on a 7-0 run and with a 27-19 lead.
Ā
Memphis limited Tulsa to 28.0 percent shooting in the first half (7-25) and 2-of-11 from 3-point distance (.182). The Tigers had a 26-15 advantage on the glass
Ā
The Tigers held a 44-38 lead with 4:32 left in the game, but the Golden Hurricane went on an 18-2 run after that to turn the tide of the game and pick up the win.
