MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis senior kicker Riley Patterson has accepted an invitation to the 2021 Reese's Senior Bowl.
The Reese's Senior Bowl is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21, at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Ala., and will be televised on the NFL Network.
One of the most accomplished kickers in school history, Patterson made a game-winning 47-yard field goal as time expired to give the Tigers a 30-27 win over Houston on Saturday. He also made kicks of 49 and 34 yards as Memphis finished its regular season with a 15th consecutive home victory.
Patterson ranks second in program history in career field goal percentage (77.8) and career points kicking (427) is first in program history, trailing only former Tiger and NFL veteran Jake Elliot. Patterson is third in Memphis history in career field goals made (63).
The Edwardsville, Ill., native was a first-team All-American Athletic Conference selection last season and has been listed on the Lou Groza Award watch list for two consecutive seasons.
Patterson has also been invited to the East-West Shrine Bowl.
