Tigers take on Oklahoma State in Oxford on Saturday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis men's tennis is back in action on Saturday, facing off against No. 20 Oklahoma State in a neutral site match in Oxford, Miss. Match time against the Cowboys is set for 7 p.m.

Last time out, the Tigers picked up their first win of the spring, sweeping Utah State in a 4-0 match in the ITA Kickoff Weekend. Wins in doubles from the 21^st ranked duo of Oscar Cutting and David Stevenson and the pair of Jan Pallares and Patrick Sydow put Memphis ahead early, and the Tigers never looked back.

Memphis continued the momentum with singles wins from Pallares, Matt Story and Jeremy Taylor to cap off the match.

No. 20 Oklahoma State enters the weekend after a narrow 4-3 win over Arizona State in its bracket of the ITA Kickoff Weekend. Though the Sun Devils took the doubles point, the Cowboys rallied to win four points in singles. The win marked the first ranked win for the Cowboys this season.

The Cowboys will face Ole Miss in a battle of top 25 teams on Friday before taking on the Tigers on Saturday.
