No. 18 Tigers host North Texas Friday

Memphis, Tenn. – After a split on the first road trip of the year, No. 18 Memphis women's soccer returns to Park Avenue Campus for a home tilt against North Texas on Friday night.

Five Things To Know About Memphis
- Despite a setback at No. 18 Kansas last week, the Tigers rose to No. 18 in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll and are receiving votes in the TopDrawerSoccer poll.
- Senior Stasia Mallin, junior Elizabeth Moberg and senior Serena Dolan claimed league honors this week as a part of the AAC Players of the Week list. Mallin was named the AAC Defensive Player of the Week, Moberg claimed Goalkeeper of the Week accolades and Dolan was listed to the weekly Honor Roll.
- On Friday, the Tigers will face a member of their former conference, Conference USA. Memphis was a member of C-USA from 1995-2013 and tallied five league titles (2007-11). The Tigers hold a 65-38-3 all-time mark against C-USA foes.

The Mean Green visit Memphis following their first setback of the season. UNT opened the year with wins against Northwestern State, Texas Southern and Houston Baptist before falling at Texas Tech on Sunday.
Berklee Peters and Logan Bruffett each pace the offense with three goals apiece. Offensively, the Mean Green have produced 14 total goals from nine different scorers.
In between the posts, Kelsey Brann has carried the load as the team's primary goalkeeper with 313 of the team's 358 minutes. Brann holds a 1.44 goals-against average with 10 total saves this season for a .667 save percentage.
