Football Closing Lambuth Camp Saturday

Fans invited to 10 a.m. scrimmage
JACKSON, Tennessee – The University of Memphis football team will close its 2019 Lambuth Training Camp session on Saturday with a open scrimmage and practice session, beginning at 10 a.m.
The scrimmage caps a three-day stay in Jackson for the Memphis football program. On Friday, after a morning practice, the team went through more team building exercises, position meetings and then went on a social outing that included bowling, go-karts, mini-golf, video games and laser tag.
"One of the things that's great about hosting a scrimmage here is the fan support" head coach Mike Norvell said. "All the Tiger fans here in Jackson and coming up from Memphis, we're delighted to have. It's another showcase of what this 2019 football team will be, so we look forward to a great crowd and a helping create an incredible atmosphere."
Admission and parking for the scrimmage are free. The scrimmage is scheduled to end around noon.
Posters and information on season tickets, including the 3-game pack that includes the season-opener against Ole Miss, will be available at the event. The players and coaches will sign autographs after the event.
