Memphis Football Reports to Fall Camp

First practice slated for Friday afternoon.
MEMPHIS, Tennessee – The University of Memphis football team reported to fall camp on Thursday in preparation for the first day of practice Friday. The newcomers spent the morning moving into the dorms while a smattering of returning players met with over 20 media members to talk Tigers.
The team went through a 4 p.m. compliance meeting, then enjoyed their first team meal together before the first full team meeting of camp in the evening.
The Tigers, coming off back-to-back West Division championships, will practice in the afternoons for the opening two weeks of camp while completing summer school obligations ahead of the August 9 final exam period. The camp morning opens with offense and defense meetings and breakfast before the team handles summer school class obligations, lunch and the first fall practice. The post-practice period includes dinner, treatments and a final team meeting of the evening.
On Thursday, the Tigers also put a three-game pack of tickets on sale. The three-pack includes the season-opening game against Ole Miss and any two other Memphis home games. Family fun zone tickets in a three-pack ticket (a minimum of four tickets required, start at just $75.00.
Memphis fans can get their first look at the 2019 roster on Saturday, August 10 at the team's Fan Fest event at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. That event is free and will feature an equipment sale and a team scrimmage, both starting at 4 pm.
