Boogie Ellis Added to Men's Basketball Signing Class

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Boogie Ellis, a four-star combo guard from San Diego, is joining the 2019 University of Memphis recruiting class.
Ellis, a 6-foot-2 guard, played for Mission Bay High in San Diego and is the No. 32 prospect on 247Sports' Composite rankings.
A strong outside shooter, Ellis opened his senior season with a 51-point effort in a lopsided victory over Mt. Miguel. In late December, he scored 43 points in a win over Seattle O'Dea in the Torrey Pines Holiday Classic.
As a junior, Ellis averaged 24 points, six rebounds and six assists and was named San Diego Section Player of the Year. During the summer of 2018, he averaged 17.2 points per game and shot 46 percent on the EYBL circuit.
Following his senior season, Ellis was selected to play in the prestigious Jordan Brand Classic in Las Vegas.
Ellis joins Tennessee Prep's Damion Baugh and IMG Acdemy's Lester Quinones as additions for the 2019 roster. Baugh is a 6-foot-4 point guard. Quinones is a 6-foot-5 combo guard from Brentwood, N.Y. They join a class that includes 7-foot James Wiseman, the nation's No. 1 recruit, 6-foot-7 forward D.J. Jeffries and 6-foot-9 forward Malcolm Dandridge
