Friday Night Stripes to Close Spring Football

Tiger Lane opens at 5 pm
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis football team will wrap up its 2019 spring practices with Friday Night Stripes presented by NISSAN at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. A modified Tiger Lane will open at 5 pm Friday. The team will arrive for its normal Tiger Walk at 6 pm and the game will kick at 7 pm.
Tiger Lane will feature inflatables and the Highland Hundred barbeque contest. Because the Southern Hot Wing Festival will also be setting up on Friday, the Tigers will use the area of Tiger Lane from Early Maxwell to the stadium for Friday Night Stripes. The football team will arrive on Tiger Lane in its normal location for Tiger Walk at 6 pm.
For the scrimmage, seats on the west side of the stadium and concessions inside Gate 3 will be available.
The game will wrap with a special quarter, the Memphis Media Madness quarter, where Team TV will compete against Team Radio. Former Tigers Jarvis Greer and Doc Holliday will make up Team TV, while Geoff Calkins and Dave Woloshin will make up Team Radio in a battle for media bragging rights.
The team will be available to sign autographs on the field at the end of the Memphis Media Madness event.
