Tigers fall at No. 18 Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. – Memphis men's tennis dropped a 4-0 decision Friday night to No. 18 Oklahoma at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
The Tigers (9-5) sought a rally after dropping the opening doubles point, but the home-standing Sooners took three singles points to seal the match.
The Sooners took the opening doubles point with wins at 1 and 3, while Memphis duo Matt Story and Turner Voges had their court left unfinished at 5-5.
In singles, Oklahoma turned in three singles wins on courts 5, 3 and 6 to seal the win. On court 1, senior Chris Patzanovsky took his first frame in a tiebreak. Matt Story also won his opening set on court 2 before his match was left unfinished.
The Tigers will turn their attention to a Sunday match at Oklahoma State. First serve against the Cowboys is set for 12 p.m.
