MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis' Levi Clark begins his version of March Madness Friday, Mar. 8 when he competes at the NCAA Rifle Championships in Morgantown, W.Va. West Virginia University is the host for this year's championships.

Clark shoots in the smallbore discipline Friday. The relays begin at 8:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. (CT), with the final to follow at 2:30 p.m. (CT).It is Clark's second-straight NCAA Championships appearance in smallbore.

- Levi Clark's smallbore average in 2018-19 is 581. He had six matches in which he shot 580 or higher in the discipline this season.
- Clark's 581 average this season was nearly four points higher than his 2017-18 average of 577.4 in the discipline.
- His six matches of 580 or higher in smallbore this season was one better than he posted in 2017-18 (five).
- Clark's 588 smallbore score in the NCAA Sectional Qualifier Feb. 16 was his career-best. The 588 score also was just one shy of tying the school record (589) that was set by his teammate Leighton Dempster in her "Senior Day" match Feb. 9.
- Clark recorded aggregates of 1170 or higher four times in 2018-19. In his previous two campaigns (2016-17, 2017-18), he had only two aggregates of 1170 or higher.

- With Clark shooting this weekend, it is the fifth-straight season a Tiger competes in the smallbore discipline at the NCAA Championships. Amy Fister was a smallbore competitor from 2015-17, and Makennon Doran also shot smallbore in 2017. Clark competed in smallbore last season.
