Tigers host four matches at UofM Park Avenue Campus
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis women's soccer head coach Brooks Monaghan announced the squad's 2019 spring schedule, which features four home matches at the University of Memphis Park Avenue Campus.
The Tigers open the spring slate with four consecutive home matches beginning March 12. SEC foes highlight two of the four home contests.
"I think we have a great spring schedule. We get to see a different variety of soccer," Monaghan said. "We're playing some very competitive, successful programs that will be great for our young team. It's always great to play against quality opponents, especially for some players that haven't played significant minutes."
Memphis will host the Toronto Blizzard, a Canadian club team, on March 12. The Tigers welcome Vanderbilt on March 17 and Mississippi State on March 24.
Memphis will then host Arkansas State on April 6 before hitting the road for matchups at Southeast Missouri on April 13 and Ole Miss on April 17.
The Tigers return 19 players to the spring roster, including four juniors in Rachel Ashworth Shepard, Serena Dolan, Amanda Lammey and Stasia Mallin. The team also added early-enrollee Isabella Mattsson of Finland, who seeks to make her Blue and Gray debut this spring.
The Tigers finished the 2018 fall season with a 17-4 record and claimed their first American Athletic Conference title.
