Jackson, Martin lead Tigers by firing 1-under-par 71s in second round

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Isaiah Jackson and Borja Martin fired 1-under 71s Monday to help the University of Memphis move into 11^th place after 36 holes at the Kiawah Classic at Turtle Point.

Auburn is the leader at 14-under 274 after two rounds at Turtle Point Golf Course in Kiawah Island, S.C. In second place is Augusta at 5-under 283. The final round will be played Tuesday.

Auburn's Jovan Rebula is the individual leader at 14-under 130 after rounds of 64 and 66. USC Upstate's Hunter Fry is in second place at 138.

Jackson's 71 followed an opening-round 73 and has him tied for 19^th individually at even-par 144. Guillaume Chevalier is tied for 39^th at 3-over 147. Other Tigers participating were Rodi Vlasveld, who shot 75 for 148 and Phuripon Namkang (82 for 164). Martin is at 10-over 154.

The UofM had one player – William Harwood – participate as an individual. He shot 72 Monday for a two-day total of 148

The Tigers, who moved up two places Monday, are playing in their event of the fall season.
