Patrick Taylor Jr. earns AAC Weekly Honor Roll nod

Senior running back ran for 95 yards with three TDs in Memphis' win over USF
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Senior running back Patrick Taylor Jr. has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his efforts in Memphis' 49-10 win at USF Saturday afternoon. This is the second time this season Taylor Jr. has been honored by the league for his play on the field.

Taylor Jr. finished with 95 yards on the ground and a season-high three touchdowns for the Tigers. He led all players with 17 carries en route to the ninth multi-touchdown game of his career.

For his career, Taylor Jr. has racked up 35 rushing touchdowns, a total that sits just one touchdown shy of matching Darrell Henderson and Dave Casinelli for the second-most rushing touchdowns in program history. DeAngelo Williams holds the record at 55 touchdowns.

Taylor Jr. also recorded 20 receiving yards for Memphis, improving his career all-purpose yards total to 3,202, which ranks sixth-most all-time. He sits exactly 100 yards away from tying Joseph Doss for fifth all-time.
