Davis Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

Sophomore forward earns third nod this season

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the third time this season, sophomore forward Alana Davis has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for helping lead Memphis to a 1-1 week including a key road victory at USF.

Davis was perfect from the charity stripe this week, making all nine attempts in the two games. She finished the week averaging a team-high 10.5 points per game.

Against USF, Davis led Memphis with 11 points and four rebounds. Wednesday's road victory in Tampa was the first Tiger win at USF since the 2001 season.
