MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis women's golf team shaved eight strokes off their round one score and moved to a tie for ninth overall with American Athletic foe Tulsa at the Lady Paladin Invitational Saturday. Memphis' day two 295 has them at 598 (+22) and just four strokes behind Kansas and USF at sixth.

Michaela Fletcher remains tied for 25^thoverall following a second round 73. Her 147 (+3) has her tied with two other players.

Sydney Colwill followed her opening day 75 with a second round 74 and is tied at 34^thwith her 149.

Madison Thomas shaved two strokes off her first round score, posting a 74 to move to a tie for 40^that 150.

Abby Herrmann made the biggest stroke improvement from her firs to second rounds, firing a 74 on Saturday to move to a tie for 52^ndat 152 (+8). Freshman Ana Dawson took three strokes off her first round score, scoring a 75 to finish day two with a 153 (+9).

The final round of the event tees off Sunday in a shotgun start at 9 a.m. from tees seven through nine. Live scoring will be available atwww.BirdieFire.com.
