Hofmann named AAC Goalkeeper of the Week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tiger goalkeeper Tyler Hofmann has been named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Hofmann blanked the Belmont Bruins on Saturday night, holding Belmont scoreless through 80 minutes of play before being replaced in goal. He stopped all three shots he faced in goal.

This is Hofmann's second weekly honor, having been named to the Weekly Honor Roll earlier in the season.

Memphis hits the road to face UAB in Birmingham, Ala., on Tuesday. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
