Women's soccer begins six-match road swing with UAB

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After a 2-1 home slate to start the season, Memphis women's soccer embarks on a six-match road swing, beginning with a trip to Birmingham against familiar foe UAB.

Five Things to Know About Memphis
- The Tigers return to the pitch following their first loss of the year, a 5-2 setback against Mississippi State last Thursday.
- Thursday's game is the first of six consecutive matches away from home. Memphis will play Samford in Birmingham Monday followed by a road trip to Houston to play Rice and Louisiana on Sept. 7 and Sept. 9, respectively. Senior Kelsey Daugherty has logged all 270 minutes between the posts for UAB this season. Daugherty has tallied 19 saves against 7 goals in the previous three outings. In her last appearance, the Kennesaw, Ga., native collected seven saves and posted her 11th career shutout.
