LAKE NONA, Fla. – Memphis women's tennis fell in its weekend finale at No. 25 UCF by a final of 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
"Today's match was a great college tennis match," head coach Hayden Perez said. 'We have a lot of respect for UCF and they competed hard — both teams competed hard. I am so proud of this group, and I see us getting stronger down the road."
Memphis (8-7, 0-3) couldn't quite capture early momentum as it dropped the opening doubles point.
