Sophomore transfer from Union University has played in 11 matches this season.
Today's Memphis volleyball "Get To Know Me" is Bre Carlton. A sophomore from Franklin, Tenn., Carlton transferred to Memphis after playing the 2017 campaign at Union University. This season, Carlton has seen action in 11 matches and has 97 assists and 27 digs. She has six double-digit assists matches and had a season-high 19 assists in a Sept. 7 win over Tennessee Tech.Â

Last season at Union, Carlton led the Bulldogs with 992 assists in 31 matches (28 starts). She ranked among the Gulf South Conference (GSC) statistical leaders in assists per set (4th) and total assists (3rd). She logged double-digit assists in all 31 matches, including a career-high 55 assists at West Georgia. Carlton had four double-doubles (assists-digs).

Prior to Union, Carlton prepped at Franklin High School. She moved into the primary setter role her final two seasons and earned Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Class 3A All-State honors in 2015.
