Braden Webb Signs With Memphis Baseball

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Braden Webb, an infielder/utility player from Prosper High School in Texas, has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the University of Memphis baseball squad for the 2020 season, head coach Daron Schoenrock announced.
"We are thrilled to add someone to our Tiger Family with the advanced hitting ability that Braden possesses. He has flourished in a tremendous high school program in the baseball hotbed of Texas. Braden has the defensive skills to be a true multi-position player. He will definitely be a winner on and off the field," Schoenrock said.
Webb is the brother of former Memphis outfielder and current Minnesota Twins prospect Tyler Webb. The younger Webb is a two-time first team all-district player for Prosper High School. Last season at Prosper, Webb batted .325 with 28 runs scored and 20 runs batted in. He helped lead his team to a 36-9-2 overall record and the regional final of the state playoffs. Webb is also a member of the football team, playing running back and defensive back.
Webb is the son of Denny and Tori Webb.
