The Memphis Tigers
Memphis concludes its regular season on the road after dropping a thriller against top-ranked UCF on Senior Day. After Chris Mikus brought the Tigers within a score, the intensity of the match reached its peak, but Memphis was unable to find an equalizer, falling 2-1.
The Tigers' scoring efforts have been by committee this season, as nine Memphis players have scored a goal in 2018, with five players that have scored multiple times. Mikus leads the way with four scores. Eight Tigers have recorded an assist as well, led by Alexandros Ierides' team-high five. Between the posts, Memphis goalkeepers have combined for six shutouts and 66 saves.
At the helm of the Tigers is head coach Richard Mulrooney, who finishes his fifth regular season on Friday. Memphis holds the sixth spot in the conference standings, with a 2-3-1 conference record. With the six teams already having clinched conference tournament spots, seeding is all that is left in the balance as the regular season enters its final weekend.
