Colwill's 68 Moves Her Into Top 10

Memphis ninth at the end of two rounds at Kentucky tournament.
Memphis, Tenn. –Sydney Colwill led the way for the Lady Tigers at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational, tying her career best by carding a 68 and moving into the top 10. After two days of competition, the Memphis Lady Tigers are now positioned ninth overall.
Colwill started off strong, hitting a birdie on her first hole of play. Over the remaining 17 holes, Colwill would go on to card four more birdies, accounting for five of Memphis' 11 birdies on day two. She is now tied for eighth overall.
Michaela Fletcher registered a 75 on the Big Blue Course today, followed closely by Madison Thomas who shot a 76.
Abby Herrmann and Julia Matzat both shot identical scores of 80, leaving them ranked tied for 61stand 50th respectively.
Victoria Gallegos, representing the Lady Tigers as an individual competitor, shot an 81, which now positions her in a tie for 61st.
The final day of play begins tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. ET with a shotgun start.
Leonie Bettel of Kentucky holds the lead through two days, and is followed closely by Pimchanok Kawil of Toledo, who set a new course record for an 18 hole score, shooting 65. The University of Kentucky remains in the lead, now holding a 16 shot lead over Penn State.
