Junior has run in 10 races in his collegiate career.
Today's Memphis cross country "Get To Know Me" is Joshua Hamlet. A junior from Memphis, Tenn., Hamlet is one of six runners on this year's squad from the Mid-South area. Hamlet has raced in 10 career events, including two this season. Hamlet ran an 8k personal-best time in the 2017 Greater Louisville Classic. Hamlet also has two career top-50 finishes, with both coming in the 2017 campaign.

Before joining the Memphis program, Hamlet raced at Christian Brothers High School and earned Commercial Appeal All-Metro honors in cross country three years. Hamlet ran in the 2014 and 2015 Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Division II Class AA state races and posted top-25 finishes both years. As a junior in 2014, he placed 23rd, and a year later, Hamlet improved his finish to an 11th-place performance. Hamlet helped Christian Brothers to a state runner-up team finish in 2015.
