Freshman is second in the conference with 557 assists.
Molly Murrihy is today's Memphis volleyball "Get To Know Me." A freshman from Palos Heights, Ill., Murrihy has seen action in all 17 matches this season and leads the team with 557 assists (2nd in the American Athletic Conference). She also has 121 digs and 11 aces. Murrihy has five double-doubles (assists-digs), and she collected a career-high 47 assists in the Tigers' Sept. 7 win over Louisiana Monroe.

Prior to Memphis, Murrihy helped her Marist High School RedHawks win the 2017 Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 4A state championship. The RedHawks finished 2017 with a 41-1 record, a No. 3 national ranking in the USA Today Super 25 poll and a No. 2 national ranking in the PrepVolleyball.com poll. Murrihy recorded over 1,000 assists in each of her last two seasons and set a school record with 1,132 assists in 2017.
