Tigers Host Conference Newcomer Wichita State Saturday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's basketball team looks to regain momentum Saturday by hosting Wichita State at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. Tipoff against the Shockers is slated for 1 p.m.

Saturday's game is also the Teddy Bear Toss game, where fans can receive free admission by bringing in a new Teddy Bear or stuffed animal. Pouncer will be in attendance to help collect the bears during halftime.

Last Wednesday, the Tigers hosted No. 1 UConn in front of over 2,300 fans at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. Although the Tigers suffered a setback to the nation's top team, Brea Elmore and Jada Stinson scored in double-digits to lead Memphis.
