Friday Night Stripes Set for April 14

Free parking and free admission to annual spring game.

MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis football team will host its annual spring game, dubbed "Friday Night Stripes," on Friday, April 14^th at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. The Tigers will arrive at the stadium at 6 p.m. for Tiger Walk and kick off will be at 7 p.m. Admission and parking to the event is free and concession stands on the West side of the stadium will be open. Fans are asked to enter the stadium through Gate 3.

In addition to the spring game festivities, sponsored again this year by Ashley Furniture, the Memphis Highland Hundred will host its barbeque contest on Tiger Lane, Friday.

The Tiger Lane Block Party, featuring inflatables for young Tiger fans, runs from 5-7 p.m. and Rock103 will be on hand for entertainment.

The Memphis Tiger Radio Network will also have a two-hour broadcast from the press box from beginning at 7 p.m. on AM 600 in Memphis.

After the game, the Tiger players will be available on the field for 20 minutes for a post-game autograph session.
