Tigers to Include Pregame Moment of Silence for Jack Eaton

A pregame moment of silence will be conducted before the national anthem.
The University of Memphis Athletics Department is saddened by the loss of long-time radio and TV play-by-play announcer Jack Eaton. "Big Jack" brought some of the Tigers' biggest Great Scott moments home to Tigers fans in Memphis and in the Mid-South. The consummate Tiger broadcaster, he stood firmly on the side of the Tigers, spreading the Memphis brand to a new generation of listeners for each of his nearly 30 years at the microphone.
Before the national anthem at the Thursday men's basketball game against UConn, the Tigers will have a moment of silence to remember "Big Jack."
