This is the first-ever meeting between Nicholls State and Memphis. Against schools in the Southland Conference, the Tigers have a 29-11 overall record. Nicholls is the second Southland Conference team on the schedule this season for Memphis. The Tigers previously defeated Northwestern State by a score of 54-38 at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
Â
Cheyenne Creighton is coming off of her third straight double after scoring 13 points and pulling down 10 rebounds in the victory Monday night over Louisiana Tech. In addition to Creighton, Taylor Williams and Brea Elmore scored in double figures for Memphis with 17 and 13, respectively.

Memphis has now won three out of the last four meetings against Louisiana Tech.
