Catherine Levasseur Named Rookie of the Week

Freshman defender Catherine Levasseur has been named as the American Athletic Conference's Rookie of the Week after she helped Memphis post two shutouts last week.

Levasseur started and played every minute of both of the Tigers' overtime matches last week in which the team didn't allow any goals.

The Stoneham, Quebec City, native, also helped the Tigers pull out the overtime victory against Gonzaga with an assist on Valerie Sanderson's game-winning goal in overtime.

Memphis goalkeeper Maryse Bard-Martel was also named to this week's Honor Roll after she posted two shutouts and combined for six saves in 211:20 minutes of play.
