Elliott Named Second Team All-America

Walter Camp Football Foundation announces 126th team
University of Memphis place-kicker Jake Elliott has been named Second Team All-America by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. The nation's oldest All-America squad was announced Thursday evening during The Home Depot ESPN College Football Awards Show.
Elliott, who led all FBS kickers in scoring with 128 points during the 2015 regular season, was in Atlanta for the awards show as a finalist for the Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award. For the year, Elliott is 22-for-26 kicking field goals and perfect on 62 PATs.
UCLA's Ka'imi Fairbairn was named First Team All-America by the Walter Camp Football Foundaton and was presented the Lou Groza Award. Auburn's Daniel Carlson was also named Second Team All-America by Walter Camp.
Since 2002, there have been five teams used to compile the consensus: American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), The Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), The Sporting News and the Walter Camp Football Foundation. The remaining All-America teams will be announced next week starting with the AP team on Sunday.
