The Tigers will next host Tulsa in final regular season match
UCF needed just one goal in the 65th minute to claim a 1-0 win over Memphis Saturday night at the UCF Soccer Complex. The Memphis Tigers will return to Mike Rose Soccer Complex to host Tulsa for the regular season finale Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

"We played a very good first half and we created some chances but I know when you miss some chances like that it comes back to bite you," Memphis head coach Richard Mulrooney said. "At halftime I asked can we keep this quality up, can we keep the intensity and can we finish one of the chances? Unfortunately the answer to all three of those was no."
Â
The Knights' goal came from a corner kick by sophomore midfielder Matias Pyysalo that was headed in by freshman forward Gorka Aperribay.
Â
Memphis created plenty of chances and had 10 shots in the match, with five of those forcing saves by the UCF goalkeeper. Conversely the Knights created fewer dangerous chances, requiring Memphis goalkeeper Jake Leeker to make three saves.
Â
"It was a tale of two halves and now we have to regroup and get back for 'Senior Night' and finish the regular season off strong against a very good Tulsa team," said Mulrooney.
Â
Tulsa tied with UConn Saturday night and the two teams remained tied for third in the conference. Memphis is in a three-way tie for fifth place with Cincinnati and Temple.
