Men’s Tennis Falls in Sunday Semis

Tigers fall to Indiana opponents in semifinals on Sunday.
KNOXVILLE – The University of Memphis men's tennis team of Ryan Peniston and Felix Rauch fell to the Indiana team of Sam Monette and Daniel Bednarczyk of Indiana in the semifinals of the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals, Sunday, 6-3, 6-2.
In the consolation A semifinals, freshman Chris Patzanovsky also saw his schedule come to a close with a 6-2, 6-1 loss to Bednarczyk, who had just defeated the Tigers' doubles team in that draw.
Memphis is done competing in collegiate tournament events for the fall, and will close out the fall slate playing in a USTA event in Birmingham, Ala., starting Oct. 30th.
