- Tonight's win was the ninth-straight over Tulane in New Orleans. The last time Tulane defeated the Tigers in the "Big Easy" was in 1999-2000, a 64-63 victory on Feb. 9, 2000.
- Tonight's Memphis win prevented Tulane from a regular-season sweep of the Tigers. The last time the Green Wave swept the regular-season series over Memphis was back in 1982-83.
